English Tutor (ESL) – Minimum 2 Years Experience
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated “English Tutor” to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for teaching English as a second language (ESL) and be committed to helping students develop their communication skills in English.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English to non-native speakers with a focus on building communication and language fluency.
- Develop customized lesson plans tailored to individual learner needs.
- Provide constructive feedback and encourage active learning.
- Identify and adapt to the unique learning styles and language backgrounds of each student.
- Facilitate a learning environment that promotes patience, empathy, and motivation.
- Collaborate with students to help them understand and overcome language barriers, including accents and fluency issues.
- Regularly assess the progress of students and provide detailed feedback.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an English Tutor teaching English as a second language (ESL).
- Candidates holding TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certifications will be given preference.
- Must be fluent in English and capable of communicating ideas clearly and effectively.
- A patient, kind, and polite approach to teaching, with a focus on understanding students' perspectives and needs.
- Strong listening skills to understand student challenges and language learning barriers.
- Ability to develop content and answers on a variety of topics to engage students in meaningful discussions.
- Should have a keen understanding of different accents and be able to provide constructive feedback on pronunciation and speaking styles.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with a humble and open-minded attitude towards learners.
- A tutor who is a great listener and observer, recognizing that language learning is a two-way process that requires mutual understanding.
Additional Skills (Preferred)
- Ability to develop answers on any topic to help students build conversational skills.
- Sensitivity towards diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Creative teaching techniques that make learning English interactive and enjoyable.
